Davao Crocodile Park: Simply Amusing

My first time :)
In my 23 years of existence in Davao City, finally, I had the chance to step on the pathways of Davao Crocodile Park.

Yes, you can laugh now. Lels! it was really my first time to visit Davao Crocodile Park and I should say, you should go visit there too. It is situated at Riverfront Corporate City, 8000 Ma-a, Philippines.

I am simply amused and amazed by the different animals I saw and had the chance to look into as closer as I could. There were crocodiles, eagles, snakes, tigers, gorillas, monkeys, salfin dragons, deer, ostrich, birds, and etc.

I was a bit terrified by the crocodiles. They were really scary especially when they open their mouths and just keep it like that, as if ready to eat a living animal.

See, he/she is ready.
Aren't they cute? Pet them at your risk! :)
According to Davao Crocodile Park website, it is an establishment that showcases a ‘state of the art’ crocodile farming system in the Philippines. It has the most recent crocodile farm design equipped with modern facilities and equipment. he presence of other exotic animal species like raptors, monkeys, bearcats, snakes, birds, and other reptiles makes it one of the most desired tourist destinations in Davao. The purposes of this establishment are as follows:
1. Tourism
2. Public viewing and entertainment
3. Venue for educational tours
4. Promotion of public awareness through regular lectures
5. Conservation of crocodiles and other wildlife animals and
6. Acts as a field laboratory for students in Biology, Zoology, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine as well as for wildlife animal enthusiasts.

For more information, contact them through their website at PSD or call them at (082)221-8729 / (082) 2214671.

Happy Crocs!
