When Your Facebook Password Fail

In my daily routine of checking the internet, I can't miss to check my Facebook account. Minutes before I made this post, I tried to access my account but I could not access it. So, I thought my account was hacked (again) and changed my password or I just forgot to enter the right password.

Reset Your Facebook Password
If you forgot your password, you can always reset it and make a new one. There are two ways to reset your password.

1. A link will be sent to your email
2. An SMS will be sent to your mobile phone with a code that you need to enter upon resetting the password

However, if neither of these options doesn't work then there's something wrong.
As I was trying to access my account in three attempts, I failed to notice the notification that popped up until my forth attempt. It says,

Facebook Will Be Back Soon.
Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within few minutes. In the mean time, read more about why you're seeing this message. Thanks for your patience as we improve this site.

What does it mean?
It means Facebook is making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on. While they are doing this, you won't be able to access your account. In other words, the site is under maintenance.

Few things to note:

1. Log in with same password. After the maintenance, you can still access your account with the same  right password.
2. Your account will not be affected. After the maintenance, all data in your account will remain as is.
3. No maintenance on all accounts at the same time. It is possible for your friends to access their accounts while you can't because Facebook doesn't do maintenance on all accounts at the same time.
4. Let Facebook know. If you can't still access your account after 24 hours, then you should contact and let the admin of FB know.

SMILE! :)
