Life is too short for drama. So, go pack your things and let's travel!

3D2N Solo Travel in Barcelona, Spain for €36

As what they always say, travel solo once in your life. True that!
La Sagrada Familia
So, for my first solo travel I chose to go to Barcelona, Spain. The Spanish vibe seems to be interesting because as many people know, Philippines was colonized by the Spaniards for 300 years. Fact check please. :)
Anyway, my Barcelona trip was lovely!

In this post, I wanna share a little run through of my 3-day travel experience in Barcelona. As a first time to go on solo travel, I was excited but a little nervous on what will happen with my upcoming trip. Because I am not familiar with the streets and corners of Barcelona, so I decided to avail a 2-day hop on hop off bus plus it was my first time to travel alone.

Arc de Triomf
2 Days Bus tour for €36
Before my trip, I already purchased a ticket from Barcelona Bus Turistic mobile app. They offer €4 discount for the 2-day trip which costs me €36. The ticket includes 2-day unlimited hop on hop off double-decked bus tour, audio guide in 16 languages, free direct WIFI, map of the city, 3 different routes (RED, BLUE and GREEN), and booklet of vouchers worth over €250 discounts.

Upon arrival in Barcelona, I had the spare time to roam around the city centre while waiting for the check in time in the hostel. I went to Placa de Catalunya, Arc de Triomf, Parc de La Ciutadella, Catedral de Barcelona, and the Gothic Quarter.

Then the next day was the first day of my bus tour. I chose the Blue route then Red then Green then Red again. The routes were pretty straightforward. All their stops were near to the tourist attractions indicated on the given map. Basically, the first day was mostly of hopped on, I only hopped off in La Sagrada Familia, Port Olympic, and Placa de Espanya.

On my second day with Barcelona Bus Turistica, I decided to hop off to La Sagrada Familia (again, so I can have a decent photo with the famous unfinished basilica) and Park Guell.

I suggest on your first day to try all the routes then decide where to hop off on your chosen tourist attractions and landmarks the next day. Each route lasts for at least 2 hours depending on the traffic.
Gracias, Barcelona!
For your guidance, the following are routes and the attractions;

See yous in my next post for my Barcelona, Espanya SoloTravelSolo! :)
